Since elementary school...I've always been fascinated with silhouettes. There is something pretty cool about having a silhouette convey the outlines of the image and still simply be all you need. Silhouette stamps are really hot right now so whether your style is more traditional or more grunge, pull out your silhouette stamps and have some fun. No silhouette stamps? Make your own silhouette by stamping on the reverse side of some paper and cut out the image to create your own silhouette. There are also all kinds of fun resist techniques you can do with silhouette stamps so.....Have fun with it!
Please remember to put WT184 in your keywords section and post a link back here. We'd all love to see your work! The purpose of this challenge is to get you thinking and creating so please find ways to use your silhouettes and create NEW designs.

I looked at the three examples and I don't see what makes them a silhouette. I did see what looked like a reverse image on the first card. Guess I'm confused - I'll have to take a look after work to see if it's a little clearer as to what you mean by "silhouette".
Hmm - not my strong point. I struggled with that challenge in the DTGD, but I am sure I can come up with something. Always good to be stretched a bit :-).
Yeepee, I get to play today. Thanks Julia for a great challenge. I love silhouettes too. I kept this card pretty simple as I loved the image and didn't want to clutter it with lots of extras. Here is my card: BE_WT184_Lavender Morn' by ButterflyEars at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks for looking and taking time to comment.
I am pretty sure this is a silhouette image, let me know if its not please. I can't remember the last time I did a WT, very fun! I will check out the other cards after I get the boys to school!
OOOOO!!! I'm sooo loving this look, don't have many stamps yet of this type (notice that I said YET!! LOL)...will try to play later (field trip this am!!)
