Default What's a "pepple?"

I've seen this mentioned several other places. What is it? Will it stand still so you can stamp on it?

Martha,
You're thinking of Tribbles - the nemesis of the original Star Trek Enterprise. I don't think you can stamp on them 'cause they're too furry!
Seriously, I think you mean pebbles. Glass (acrylic?) half marble shaped embellishments. I've never used them, but I'm sure others have, and can explain it better.

Pebbles are basically flattened marbles. In fact, it's mostly marble factories that make these.
Here's a couple of refrigerator magnents that I made with the small pebbles:

I used the larger pebbles for these:

Hope that helps!

Hey, do you think that the pebbles are marble wanna-bes?

Yes, they are!

I was a marble collector before I got bitten by the rubber stamping bug. I've actually been to a factory in OH where they make these.
They are the little globs of hot glass that come down the same shoot as the marbles do. But they do not go into the rollers that make the marbles round. Pretty cool stuff, actually.

OK. I found a picture of marble gems (pebbles) being made at the Jabo Factory in Reno, OH.
