Creative Memories Pages/Protectors Compatible
Does anyone know if there are other 12x12 protectors available that will fit the Creative Memories original pages? The original pages & protectors are going to be discontinued & I have tons of pages but not enough protectors. I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on protectors right now so I am trying to find a more economical route to take. Anyone have any insight on this?

First, the protectors will not be discontinued until sometime next summer (2009), so depending on how many you will be needing maybe that will be an option. Also, I have heard that since the new protectors are bigger, you should be able to trim off the side of the protector to get it to fit your current pages. Hope that helps!

That is good to know. Didn't think about trimming them down...Thanks!

Are they discontinuing their actual pages that fit in the albums?
Are they changing albums?
I need to check my stock.

The pages are now being made so that they are true 12x12 size, so roughly 1/2" wider. This also means that the albums have to be made 1/2" wider as well. All this is transitioning somewhere around Summer 2009. Both sizes are currently available.

Thank you!:-D
I will have to see if I have enough paper to fill up the albums I have right now.

Yes Dell. Westrim Crafts makes identical pages and protectors for less. Although I have found the CM pages to be of better quality. I have found these at Joanns.com, Wal-mart, and either A.C. Moore or Micheals. Whoever sells the strap scrapbooks. I don't live in the US at the moment so maybe someone knows which store.

I wondered if those would fit. Thanks for the tip. Joann's & Michael's do carry them.

Funny you should say that --
I like CM pages better than Westrim (Westrim seemed thinner)
I like Westrim Page Protectors better than CM -- Westrim didn't have the seam and seemed thicker. I liked how they looked better when they were on.

I think I will purchase the CM ones until they are gone for good. If worse comes to worse then I will get the Westrim..

I also like the Westrim Page protectors much better than CM as they do not have those jagged edges that look - well, cheap but aren't.
I cannot find much (if any) difference with the Westrim Pages and the CM. Michael's has them much cheaper, especially when they are on sale or with a 40% off coupon.
