September 2008 RELEASE Party
It's almost time for our next release!!! We have some really fun sets releasing and a great party planned, so be sure to mark your calendars for next Tuesday night! I've also got a very special challenge with a great big prize planned. I'll be posting it on Friday (9/5) morning and you'll have until Tuesday afternoon to complete it, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled!
Date:  Tuesday, September 9
Time: 10 PM Eastern, 9 PM Central, 8 PM Mountain, 7 PM Pacific, 6 PM Alaska, 4 PM Hawaii
What we're doing: Set reveals, Design Team previews, winners announcements (YES, there will be prizes!), chatting, abusing the poor F5 keys on our keyboard, and of course... HAVING FUN!
Where: Right here at Verve's little home on SCS
Guest List: Me, YOU, and anyone else you want to invite!
Oh, and it's rumored that Mr. Verve will make an appearance again! ;) __________________ julee tilman

I'm so glad there is another release so soon! I can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve! I have company all weekend and they sleep in my stampin room - good thing I have until Tuesday afternoon to complete the challenge!

This is great news. I just received my very first order from Verve in the mail yesterday. Straight to my craft room to test drive them and of course they are fabulous. Such fast service too. Now you tell me there are going to be even more stamps to choose from. Wahooooo!

LOL! Well, I think since Mr. Verve is a computer guy at heart, he classifies this as "computer stuff" and not crafty stuff! LOL I keep trying to get him to stamp me a card, but it hasn't happened... YET! :mrgreen:

She has a point there, Julee..... Russ made me a card once..... It was sweet of him to do..... and interesting...... It was for my birthday and he used a tiger from the REALLY old DOTS Circus set (The tiger was "sitting up", in that begging sort of pose). He stamped the tiger in black and colored it with.... are ya ready? Plum and light plum. Yeah. For real. Had to get a new pale plum marker because the black ink pretty much ruined it..... But he got a A for effort..... __________________

Mine made me one once with the Linograph background...he inked it up with Warm Red chalk ink (eww!) and ---GET THIS--- Ran it through my Cuttlebug to get a good impression. YUCKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!! |

Hmmm.. I don't really know time zones in Europe, but the website I found says it's 2:30 my time right now and 9:30pm western europe daylight time.

I can't wait to see the new releases - especially the one with silhouettes in it! It's my DH b-day today so hopefully we can have our celebrations early, I can get the kids to bed on time and be able to sneak in for a while!!
