To the best of my knowledge Micheals does sell them, at least ours had them last time I needed some. Also if you have a party store anywhere near you, I'd check there.

mmmmmmm, don't know any Stampin' UP! demos, that's why I asked about Michael's.

I'll check Michael's, the party store (good suggestion!!) and Joanne's tomorrow.

Thank you all.

I guess you need them NOW if they are for Halloween. Most craft stores with a candy/baking section will carry them. Our Michael's and JoAnn's carry multiple sizes and colors. Cake decorating shops will often carry the Wilton brand accessories and can be found there as well.

If you do have a party store like Party City or I Party, make sure you get the ones that are food safe. Some are just decorative and meant to store pre-wrapped goodies.

As for needing a demo, I have one that is new but way nicer than my old one. Let me know if I can hook you up!

Micheals has them...their not as clear as SU's cello bags.. they are kind of cloudy gray....and my Michaels only has cello bags that come in one size....which are a little to big for small treat bags. But they are in the gift wrap department. You might try a local party store to see if they have them.

For future use.....buy Stampin Up cello bags...and it's easy to locate a SU demo in your area by going to the SU website and putting in your zip code. You get a whole bunch of quality bags for a better price! I have also used Stampin Up's clear transparent envelopes for little treat bags....you get 50 of them for like 4.95. That will last you through several occasions and you can use them as regular envelopes as well. Good Luck and have making cute treat bags!!!

Most cake decorating stores/sections have them. They might be called lollipop or treat bags. You can even find them printed with patterns!

Yep! That is what I used here, lollipop bags:

Not "cloudy" at all. If you buy the ones in the gift wrapping section of a craft store, they may not be food safe.

Target. Also, if you have a Paper Zone in your area they carry them there.

I have purchased them at Walmart. In the cake decorating section.

Wow! I guess you never notice what's available until you need it. I've been in most of those stores and didn't know the cello bags were there. Off I go for my next craft shopping trip of the weekend. Thanks, everyone.

I often use the little ziplock bags that Walmart sells in the craft section...they come in a couple different sizes, and are way smaller than the Ziplock "snack" size. Just be careful not to get the ones that are meant to go on a ring to store embroidery floss..they have a hole punched in them...Yes, I learned that the hard way.
(I teach elementary school, and I don't always want to use up my supply of cello bags on my kiddies.)

Thanks for that tip. I will have to look at Walmart. I previously taught kindergarten before we moved to MT. I loved making little treat bags for the kids and tried the snack ziplocs but didnt' like the width.

I will check out Walmart. I like to make little treat bags for my daughters' classmates for birthday treats for the class instead of those messy cupcakes!

Thanks for the tip!

Default cellophane bags

Hi...I found a site that sells cello bags for a good price. I haven't ordered from them , but it's worth a look. www.bagsplus.com

I did notice that shipping seemed a bit high...$6.95. I'm still on the look out for a better deal
