I'm sure there must be a list somewhere, but I'm missing it! We're headed to the Birch Run/Frankenmuth/Flint area of Michigan -- any not-to-miss shops I need to visit?!
I'm curious to know myself!! I live an hour west of Frankenmuth and I wouldn't mind visiting a stamp store when I'm there!
If you're ever up to Clare, there's a store called Apple Tree Lane that has a gazillion stamps. They have a web site you can check out for the names of companies they sell.
That's a bit far for you though. The first gathering of the Michigan Mingle was in Birch Run last spring ~ hopefully some of those gals will see your post and let you know what's there!
I'll be going to Ann Arbor next month and am excited to visit Hollander's again. I don't remember their rubber stamp selection (or if there was one), but they have tons of great paper stuff.
If you're in SE Michigan (specifically Farmington Hills) be sure to visit The Scrapbook Zone...large, well-stocked store with a very nice stamp selection. Stamppeddler is very nice also.

You could also try Jane's Craft Studio in Waterford--they are an awesome lss and the ladies are so nice there! http://janescraftstudio.net/ It's a little out of the way, but worth the drive.

She carries all of Ranger products and the full line of Tim Holtz stuff. She carries Bazzill cardstock and Graphic 45 papers to name a few. She always has a walk-in project that can be made for a fee on Wednesdays at noon, and it repeats on Thursdays. On Saturdays she has cards and a technique. Her anniversary sale will start September 1st and run through September 11th. This sale is 20% off everything in the store.
Excluding the following items - paper, the stamp of the month, buy 2 get 1 stamps, and stamps marked 50% off.
This is a must check out, worth the road trip stamp store!!!!
Also down the street is a scrapbook store Memory Lane. There are lots of other great shops and restaurants to wander around in downtown bay city as well.
Here is a list I made off a "Vote for your favorite store" link . I know Scrappin & Stampin has moved to a different location. I LOVE Scrappy Chic on 8 mile.
Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
