Welcome to the last Friday in August! Its my turn to host the LSC, and we are marking the end of the summer. Not technically of course, but August seems to bring summer activities and celebrations to a close. One of the most common summer celebrations is weddings, and with that thought in mind, here is your challenge:
Today we are using a little something to make our projects. You will need to have all four somethings on your card and list them in your description.
* Something Old: This could be an old set, an old piece of lace, designer paper you have had for awhile, anything you consider old. It could even be the use of a tool that you have had forever.
* Something New: New stamps, new paper, new idea, new anything!
* Something Borrowed: How about borrowed supplies? Or even a borrowed idea? If you do borrow an idea, please give credit where credit is due, and mention it in your description with a link, if possible. * Something Blue: Any kind of blue will do, and any amount of it. It could be as small as a tiny blue brad, or your cardstock base. From embellishments to ink, think blue in any amount! The samples below show some different ideas for blues.
Your card could be a wedding cardor not! Use any theme or occasion you would like! Have fun!
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges (including past challenges) at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows. One window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
You're done!
