I'm Lisa and I'm new to stamping and SCS. I've been reading posts and looking at the gallery for about a week and I decided to join today. I attended my first SU! workshop last week and I'm hosting my first workshop this weekend. I'm so excited to get started with SU! I seem to want everything from the catalog!

Welcome! I just left Okinawa in June. As much as I hated it while I was there I'm starting to miss it now. Who is your demonstrator? I have several downline that are still there.

I know what you mean about the catalog--I have post-its everywhere in mine for my wish list!! I actually made up my next ten orders to place, but keep changing them when I see cards on this site! Since I'm not working right now, I can only order about once every couple of months and my wish lists keep getting bigger!! This site will definitely fuel your addiction!! Karen

Welcome, I am new here too. I was just looking at the posts to start here and was going to introduce myself, when I noticed you're in Okinawa! We are set to move there in January! I am really excited. I am also a SU Rep, but due to my pregnancy, haven't been doing to much with it lately. I still love ordering stuff though!!! Well, hopefully we can get to know eachother, and maybe do a workshop when I get there!! Welcome!!!

We love Okinawa. The only drawback is the time spent so far away from family...get all your visits in now! Let's keep in touch so we can meet when you get here. There are so many things to do...despite what you may hear from other people. Is your husband in the military? If so, what branch? If you want to PM me instead of broadcasting it, that's fine. ;)
There are so many people that I know who are into stamping, so you'll do great here. I even heard that there are no minimums while you're overseas. I'm not a demo yet, but I think it's only a matter of time.

Hey Lisa,
It is such a gorgeous name!! My husband is in the Marines. We have a scheduled 3 year tour over there. I am really looking forward to it, but am sort of scared just because of the whole being across the globe thing! We are going home to our stompin grounds in Michigan for the holidays before we leave, so theat will be fun.
Yeah, we will definitely have to KIT so that we can meet up!!! Do they have a Starbucks over there??? I don't know what I would do without it...

Lol...YES, there is a Starbucks off base. It's very close to Camp Foster, Camp Lester, and Kadena AB. Do you know where your husband will be stationed?
