Super Special Demonstrations! Some of our favorite people will be showing us how to make totally awesome creations as we arrive in the morning! These will not be �play along� but rather �watch and learn� demonstrations!
Shoe Box Swap! This will take the majority of the day! Everyone who comes should plan to participate in this! You will bring a shoebox with all the supplies for 60 people to make your things!
Stamp! Bring your cool new stuff and share it around!
Snack! We�ll have food and you can bring any kind of snack food you want. We�ll have a fridge with a very small amount of available space, a microwave, and an oven/stove.
Sing! For dinnertime entertainment, we�ll be hooking up the Karaoke Revolution. Bring a supply of Tylenol if loud, obnoxious, off-key singing bothers you!
How do I sign up?
You have to PM mamakimberly to get on �the list�. We have a maximum of 60 spots available, first come, first serve! There is a registration form attached to this post. Fill it out and mail it to:

Can I bring my kids? No. No children of any age are allowed. You have to be an SCS member to come. Period. It�s not a kid-friendly location.

I soooooooooooooo wanna come, however you did not confirm the weekend with me first and I hope I can have Grace's bd party on Friday!! I cannot miss this awesome event--I know you have worked oh so hard to plan this. Sign me up baby and I will PM you and heck yes I'll pay and even if I have to drop in it will be worth it just to be on the room with the awesome talent!!!

Jody: It is at a local park's activity room building. If you came to the airport, I'm sure someone could come get ya! We'll have some people sharing hotel rooms, so that's a possibility for your hotel $$ to bring down that price! Heck, anyone who wants can sleep on the floor at my house!
Geez .... I would ride out there with Connie if it wasn't that weekend!!! My due date is October 6th, so ... I think that might be pushing things a little too far.

Shell: Well, I've had 2 c/sections, so I could *totally* do one for ya! I mean, once you have HAD a c/s, you're qualified to perform one, right? It can't be that hard! Just gut a little here, squish a little here, and sloop the kid out, right? And then umm, I've got a sewing machine! We could totally sew ya up!
The first weekend in October? :( This is the weekend that our town has the annual Come & Take It celebration. It's a big weekend festival with a beer tent, food booths, parade & carnival rides to commemorate the first shot for Texas Independence in the war between Texas & Mexico.
I am actually feeling really bummed right now! We always have a big party with our high school friends and see people that we haven't seen since the last C&TI celebration. My husband actually snorted when I told him I was thinking about skipping C&TI..... I'm going to have to do some wheeling & dealing....
Okay, wah, so we all have something going on that weekend! I haven't told my DH yet that I have moved our 12th wedding anniversary from the 1st to the 2nd of October, like I would let THAT keep me from coming...Sheeeeaaah, RIGHT!

Hmmm... the offer *is* tempting, MamaK, but .... I'm not sure you have the equipment for a very strong epidural. But, hey .... maybe a good stiff drink would work?

Actually, I have a big needle I use to refill my inkjet cartridge and some icyhot... that numbs ya up right? So I could juststick that needle in your back (it can't be THAT hard, it's just a spine, right?) and stick some icy hot in there! Woohoo, homemade epidural!
I want to come! But I have to wait a little while, and pray for a spot to still be open. My hubby is due to deploy sometime in October. BUT....it could change....so.....I need to wait just a bit before I say YES! Darn it!
Question for the powers that be: Will there be a deadline of some sort to cancel? Like for hotels you have 48 hours before you arrrive to cancel with a refund of your deposit. October is pretty far away and although someone may be pretty sure they can go as of right now things can change. Also, will there be a waiting list for those of us who need to wait till closer to Oct. but all 60 slots fill up before then?

texasjodylynn - If my mom has moved from the Dallas area before Oct. then I will be needing to do the hotel thing also and will be willing to split one with you. I could also pick you up from the airport.

Hey, I am a Labor and Delivery nurse, couldn't do much about the epidural, but I could catch the baby!
