OMGoodness, that's a ton of cards. What a great thing to do for the troops. Do you send them to a specific unit or is there an organization that you send them to for disbursement?

I think I'll make some this year.
Yes and no - I do make cards that say blessings, or happy fall, or Happy Thanksgiving, but send them without a sentiment inside and more for writing my thoughts, hellos etc than the occasion, if that makes sense. A Christmas card is FOR Christmas and inside I will forcus more on the holiday....

daisyboo...I do a lot of cards where I have a design and just do an assembly line to make a bunch. Then I move on to another design and do the same thing....since I pretty much sit on my fanny all the time (as my friend puts it) I make a lot of cards. My kids are all grown so it leaves a lot of time for me to do this...Oh..and I also work full time and volunteer in the church nursery.
blessings.

I really only make 1 Thanksgiving card each year - and it's for whomever hosts Thanksgiving dinner. I have a great old SU set that I use called Grand Cornucopia. I got it at a garage sale for $4.

I do make all my Christmas cards though.....20 down, 40 to go!

I enjoy making Thanksgiving cards! Last year I made cards for family and some close friends and my family also received invitations for dinner as well!

That is great! I work at a military installation and am planning on doing a few cards for our troops that are deployed.
