Default Oh My Crafts service

I placed an order with Oh My Crafts and can't get anything out of them. I have emailed them 3 times. Nothing has been shipped. I've only ordered once before and it took 2 months to get all my order but they did ship the stuff that was in stock. This time they've shipped NOTHING. And they won't return my emails.

Do you have problems with them?

This is one company that will go to the top of my list........NOT TO BUY!

I will stick with Addictedtorubberstamps.com, Ellen Hutson and CreativeXpress. All of which I get excellent shipping. Almost immediately.

I don't know how Oh My Crafts stays in business. JMO grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :twisted:

If you do a search for Oh My Crafts you'll see lots of complaints. I was going to order the Cricut from them (they had a super good deal), but after reading about the shipping issues and such, I decided against it. I hope you get your order soon, though! Did you try calling or can you not find a phone number for them?

I never had a problem, but others did, so I stopped using them.
If you used paypal, try disputing the payment since they've never sent it.

I bid on an item from them on Ebay. I was having horrible problems with my paypal account. I emailed them and told them I would send a check. One I thought my husband put in the mail. A week to 10 days went by and they emailed me about my payment. I was so embarrassed because I was the one at fault. They were very understanding in fact I even called them to apologize. In the meantime we got our paypal working and I submitted my payment to them and got my product ASAP.

Long and short of the story I received great customer service from them even though I am the one that fouled up the payment.

I know others have had problems but I have so far been satisfied. THe funny thing with some companies is it is hit or miss. I know there is one company everyone orders from and they rave about the service. Me, I got lousy service from them.

I have been very fortunate and have had good service from them also, but I have read the threads where the people have had a hard time getting their orders. :(

I received good service from Oh My Crafts too. I placed a large order, then read the bad reviews and I was surprised and pleased the transaction went really well. I will order from them again.

I've only used them for the new C-bug pre-orders and while I've received one order I'm still waiting on the other. I did have an issue concerning those orders and had a terrible time getting any response from them, both by email and phone. That was enough for me to make the decision to not order from them anymore. :(

I went to the website this morning and they now have the following message along with the Cuttlebug embossing folders:

IMPORTANT: This is a PRE-ORDER and is expected to ship between late-July and mid-August. As always, we are one of the first to receive new Cuttlebug prducts and will ship them as soon as they arrive in the sequence that orders are placed and paid for. Based on the volume of orders in the past, it typically takes us 1-2 weeks to ship all pre-orders.

These new Cuttlebug dies are part of the latest Release #4 AND the new Seasonal Collection. As many of you experienced with the last set of new CB dies - the worldwide supply may be limited. Order early to make sure you get what you want.


This message wasn't there when I ordered almost 3 weeks ago.

I got an "ad" email from them yesterday and it said the Seasonal folders would START shipping this week. It's been a long wait (since May), but, in their defense, they couldn't ship them until they had them!

There are other threads here with numerous complaints of them not getting back to people who email customer service. They seem to be very poor in the customer service end of things. I too ordered from them and it was one delay after another. I will never order from them again.

I have order from them 2-3 time and had no trouble at all. I'm waiting for
my pre-order of CB embosser. I pay with credit card.
I would order from them again.

I also placed an order in May. I have emailed them several times with no answer. I got an email today that said my order was shipped today. Finally!!! Not good business, they should at least answer emails. I don't think I will ever order from them again.

In my opinion, Oh My Crafts shouldn't take pre-orders and your money. They have no way to tell you when the items will be in stock, but they DO have your money to spend as they wish. To me that's not fair. They are running their business on my money, but I have no product.

Waiting months for an order is no savings no matter how cheap they may be offering the product. Wait time is important to me. I want fast shipping. Waiting months is not fast!

I got a shipping notice for something. I have 1 backorder and 1 pre-order of CB folders that has been outstanding since May. Unfortunately, the notice does not say what was mailed, just "craft items".

I got my May 23rd new release Cuttlebug folders yesterday ....Finally!

I'm definitely not impressed with their service..I've had difficulty with unannounced backorders, unanswered customer service emails etc..

I won't be ordering from them again..A little communication goes a long way, you know??

I agree. In the comment section of my order I wrote "please contact me prior to placing the order if any items are out of stock".The order was placed right away so I assumed that they had everything in stock. After 19 days and no ship notice I contacted them and after a few days longer I got an email telling me to be patient. It sounds like I was lucky to get an email. Since the order never should have been placed, I have asked them to cancel it.So far, I haven't heard back.

I live in the same town as Oh My Crafts, so if I was to order something from them I am lucky enough that I could just go and pick it up in person. Mind you, although I would like to buy some of their Cuttlebug products from them I haven't managed to get a hold of them via email OR by phone.

One thing that I can say is Provo Craft, the company that makes Cuttlebug and Cricut and so many other such products, has not anticipated the demand for Cuttlebug products and has handled the problem of supply, demand, and distribution very poorly. The company that owns Provo Craft also owns Creativexpress.

I am in Utah where these companies are headquartered and where they have a number B & M stores. You would think that THEIR store would be the first to get this new release. WRONG! In my experience they are usually last. And to make matters worse, when I have called or gone in to the store and tried to ask when they were going to have the new release on their shelves I can't even find someone who knows what I am talking about let alone who knows when they will start carrying the stuff. I get the same run around when I contact Provo Craft directly - no one will give me a straight answer.

I don't think the practice of Oh My Crafts doing pre-sales is bad. But in this situation, when the source of the product is Provo Craft, it's very unwise of them.

Am new to this forum and wish I had been a member before ordering from Oh My Crafts. The order was placed weeks ago, paid with PayPal and still has not arrived. The company has not responded to multiple emails or phone calls. Did discover the request for a limited use permit by the company owner to the Alpine City Utah planning commission which follows:

2. CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS FOR HOME OCCUPATIONS:
Oh My Crafts, Inc. � 351 River Road � Sandra Cottle: Ms. Cottle requested a permit for her on-line scrap-booking business. She kept very little inventory because she shipped the good immediately. No customers visited the home.

This probably explains the long wait in shipping.

You can view the request by searching complaints Oh My Crafts! and the url will be returned. This system doesn't allow me to post URLs as a new user.

My next step is to contact paypal. Wonder how many people have had to file disputes about them with Paypal?

I too placed a pre-order for the new Cuttlebug folders with them and of course, added a few other items onto my order.

I FINALLY got the folders, but never did receive the Cuttlebug oval dies ($4.99 item) that was part of my order.

I have emailed and called them several time with no response.

I am writing it off as a loss, and they have lost me as a customer.

I've experienced bad service with them as well. I will NEVER order from them again. It took 2-3 weeks before my order came and also got 2 extra CB folders too. It was their error but I didn't complain. I will look for other places to shop.

I too have been taken by Oh My Crafts. I ordered from them after getting a discount code from them for signing up to get their newsletter. The code was for 15% off my first order....plus they were to give a 10% discount for cuttlebug orders over $50.00. When I went to apply the codes, I received a message telling me the code was no longer valid. Funny though, the code had just been sent to me with no expiration date in the email. I emailed them after placing the order and they told me they would apply only the 10% off. Today I received my credit card statement where they charged full price, they never took off any discount. I have emailed them several times, with no response. I have even called them, only to hear a recording saying the mailbox is full....seems they are very popular. Tomorrow I am contacting my credit card company to see what steps I can take next. Never, ever again, they have the all-time worst customer service.

ive done some shopping there and they are a bit slow in shipping but ,once my order got lost and they replaced it very fast

i do still shopp there from time to time

Default Oh my crafts called me back right away

I called them today and left a message because I got an email that said all my items were shipped. However I only got 2 of the 4 items. I was just double checking that the 2 items I didn't get are still coming. They were Christmas cuttlebug folders. I received a phone call back in about 2 hours. I am sorry you have not been happy but I wanted everyone to know they can call and get answers. She said they are sending out orders from June right now.

Lots of people talk to me about their experiences buying Cuttlebug products. :-)

Over the last 2 years, the number of complaints has been too high for my comfort level. I do not recommend ordering from OhMyCrafts. You may squeeze by and be fine, or not. If you're comfortable with that risk, go ahead.

I do recommend allthatscraps.com, 7kidscollegefund.com, creativexpress.com, and others you can find through SCS.

Did they say anything about the seasonal ones? I ordered May 29th and was one of the first to get the first sets that went out, but have not gotten my holiday ones yet.. I wonder if they have started shipping those yet..

I have placed 2 orders from them, with no issues. That's a bummer so many others have issues.

My issue is the payment. I have a problem with them taking our money when they will not ship for months! I have placed orders from companies where the product is a pre-order or back order. I give my payment info but they don't actually run the CC until the item ships. The reason they take your money is because they do not have money of their own to pay for their stock. This is how companies go out of business. Spending what they don't have. I will not be ordering anything else that is for sure!!

I will not order from them again even if they are the only company with teh cuttlebug fiolder/dies I want.
Their customer service is terrible and when they finally do respond, it is always with excuses. I finally had to file an ebay dispute after waiting for 3 months AFTER the anticipated pre-order delivery date. ( The order was placed 1 month before that). When the dispute was filed, the items were magically suddenly available- I was advised that they "just" came in. Yeah, right.

I got the same kind of shipping notice - checked out the reference number on the UPS email - and it matched to my OMC order! So.... I should have my seasonal folders (ordered late May) on August 19th!

Just FYI, I got my order today - all seasonal CB folders - and I never received a shipping notice at all. Nice surprise!

I had also e-mailed this am, asking when I could expect shipment and although the reply was generic and not that helpful, I got a response within a couple of hours.

Hope that helps some of you who are still waiting
