The new catalog is always posted at noon MT on the first day because of the massive switchover in OEX, the system that demos use to enter orders. Just a little tidbit to file away for future releases, so you're not sitting up needlessly waiting for midnight MT to come!

Thanks to Rachel for explaining the timing in posting the catalog to the Web. I'm disappointed that SU! doesn't post a note on their site stating when it will be available online. They must realize we're all waiting with baited breath to see it. It would be even better for those of us east of mountain time, and probably easier for SU! on The Big Day, if they could activate the demo ordering system a few days in advance of posting the catalog. There may be technical reasons for not doing that, though.

School started today, so I have sent lots of emails, updated my blog, placed the first order and now need to put the finishing touches on my catalog debut that takes place on Wednesday. I feel like Santa must at Christmas

inkin&thinkin - I read something that said September 1st for the Sizzix dies, but I'm not sure.
Overall I am extremely disappointed with the web-site. It is now 45 minutes after the whole thing was supposed to go online and I finally got a link to the catalog and you have to download it! I already have mine, so I'm not interested in that, but I wanted to see the sets in Spanish and I can't find that anywhere! My demonstrator ordered me a catalog in Spanish, but she hasn't even received her original English copy yet, let alone the Spanish one.

I think I saw a link to the spanish stuff on my demo's website.
I'm really disappointed that the only option is to download the whole 212 pg catalog! I've been trying to download it for over an hour and it's not even close! I wish I could just look at it online like before.
I agree that it is taking forever to download but I like that I can see the actual detail better this way than how they had the catty online before. Off to pick up my kids from school and hope it finishes downloading while I'm gone.

OK, so I clicked on the "Download the Fall/Winter 2008 Idea Book & Catalog" link but it is just thinking... I haven't had anything pop up asking me to start the download or where to save the file, etc.... is that right?
It wouldn't be so bad if I could see the progress and could have an idea of when it is done. I have to leave work in 2 hours and don't want to quit part way through (It has been going for an hour already) and we have a T3 line... boo.
