I saw it too! I also saw a beautiful silver tray done that way. I would love to see an upclose photo of it.

Was it an advent calendar? There was an advent calendar made on a cookie sheet around Christmas last year that is in resouces . Beate Johns made it and here is the link to the tutorial.

I think I have the picture you want, but I don't know how to post it here. If you want to give me your email address, I can send it to you.

There's a photo of the baking pan calendar in the Day 2 No Chatter Thread. The post has a link to a Kodak Gallery of 400+ photos of the convention boards etc. I remembered seeing it there...good luck, you'll have to sift through the photos but it's worth it!

The one I saw at convention did not have small tins an each day. Each day # was in a tile. The tiles were small enought to fit 7 across. It was interchangeable for each month, the tilese were magnets and the month of the year at the top was decorated to match the month (July red, white, blue). When I download my pictures I'll post it. There was also one on the display boards.

One was demonstrated making small boxes you could put trinkets or candies in as well. The boxes were adhered using velcro.

On the baking pans, the extra magnets could just be stuck on the back side.

I don't know about this person's calendar, but I stored mine in a manilla envelope attached to the back. You only have to store the months and their little decorations and maybe 2-3 numbers at a time, which really isn't very much or thick so it doesn't push it off the wall much. The holiday markers are kept on the bottom on the front, as you can see in the pic.

Hope this helps some,

I put mine in the envelope as to not scratch the magnets against the wall.

You probably had a flat pan then rather than the one illustrated that is turned over so that the flat part faces out. It holds the inside/bottom of the cookie sheet about an inch away from the wall.

No, I used the pan the other way so that the magnets didn't stick out. I used those flat marbles for numbers and holiday icons cause they looked really nice, so they kind of stuck out. The calendar is on the inside of the pan so it didn't stick out any further than the lip of the pan. I'll try and find a pic of it to post. It was a gift, so I can't just snap one off. I'm pretty sure I got a pic of it before I gave it away.

I did some on little 8"x10" silvertone serving trays. Using the smaller squished marbles, you could fit 7 across and 8 or so down. The months were done on cardstock and placed on those business card sticky magnets. I didn't do little monthly extras, though, just the month names. I stamped the major holidays, and then reduced them on the copier to make them small enough to fit under the marble. It didn't matter too much as the marbles magnified the stamps. I put them on the small round sticky magnets and kept them at the bottom of the tray. I attached a small manilla envelope to the back to keep the months in. They could also keep the extra day(s) in there as well if needed. My sister noted later that I could've decorated an envelope and attached it to the bottom of the tray instead of putting it in the back, but I think it would've taken away from the look.

I can't find a pic of them, but trying to see if someone still has theirs.
