Many families are looking at the calendar and thinking about going back to school. When you send you loved ones off, why not send them a nice thought in the middle of the day too. I stick notes and cards inside of my husband's and my kids' lunches on a frequent basis. While you are stocking up on school supplies, stock up on some ATC sized cards too.
Make an "ATC Card" to let a family member know you are thinking about them in the middle of the day. Then sneak it into their lunch box, laptop case, wallet, etc. You could lay it on their pillow or prop it up next to their mirror...whereever they are most likely to see it!
Dimensions:
For an ATC card...start with a paper that is 3.5 x 5 inches. Then fold it in half. Voila...an ATC card. If you want one that is slightly larger, try starting off with a quarter sheet of paper and folding it in half. This is a fun way to use up scraps of paper. Small images can become the focal point.
**Extra bonus points go out to those who use their dollar acrylic stamp sets that are just sitting in a drawer in your craft area!

Thanks!!
Ohhh this is a scary one for me....my cards are usually gigantic by the time I get them done! This is going to be a challenge for sure...but way fun, thanks for posting early!

Dawn, I'll have to stock up on these. Love the idea and haven't made any of these in a long time! Will work on it later today.

Great challenge, Dawn! I won't get to play all weekend, but I'll try to do it early next week!

This looks fun, I like ATCs. But it will have to wait till I get home from work. And it will have to be suitable for sending a friend - DH would think I had lost the plot if I started putting notes in his lunch, sniff. And yet he enjoys the Peanuts cartoons, the notes Linus gets from his mom, and when Charlie Brown thinks he's found a note from the little red-haired girl.
What a fun looking challenge.... I'm going to have sooo much catching up to do! We just moved into our apartment this morning after living out of suitcases for 40+ days!! And, just found out all our stuff arrives here Tuesday, I'm so excited I can barely contain myself!! I think I will spend the entire week stamping!!!
Oh, Dawn, I never would have thought to make an ATC sized card. I love these little lunch notes and will definitely be making more. Thank you so much - I love new ideas (well new to me!). My DH will be going to NY to an archery shoot and this will get tucked in his suitcase. Love it!
