*New thread started**Sevierville, TN
There are some organizing shoebox swaps and other side things, but mostly to meet and just have fun together stamping, gabbing and of course Shopping the outlet malls.
We have identified a hotel that has plenty of rooms and a conference room for Saturday. People will make their own reservations with the hotel. SEE ATTACHEMENT BELOW FOR RESERVATION ONFORMATION
EACH GROUP WILL BE RESPONSIBILE TO MAKE AND MANAGE THEIR OWN RESERVATION AND GROUP, PAY DEPOSITS ETC. Our purpose here again is to coordinate the gathering location.
Please just post to the thread when you have made your reservation so we can keep track of the blocked room needs. Also, if you are a single looking for a roommate feel free to post that as well. Let's help some singles group up so it is affordable to all.

Mom got in AOK and was sleeping soundling when I left. Today I am off at noon. We are coming back into the city so I can show them around the campus and sites. Not a hectic day today, just relax and sitesee.

Lynette, do you access Dr. Muller site often? I don't read his stuff much but I have a few people that forward me his blogs once in awhile. I especially liked his article on children with "Down's Syndrome" we were planning on adopting a Down's child but they just aren't available anymore.

Hey janet..I just checked out your swap...I want to join!!! BUT your snowman list is full...will you add?? If so, I will hop over there and sign up!!!! WOOHOO!!! I LOVE Snowmen!!! Come Thanksgiving (which is when I decorate for Christmas) my house is FULL of snowmen!!! Most of my ornaments on my tree are snowmen!!!! I like to use them because you can keep them out ALL winter long!!!!

I have edit option here Lynnie so we should be good to go. You and I, Sara and baby Lee need to decide on a cabin and if we can take in singles and get signed up. Set an example. I am leaning toward Superbowl weekend. I think we have a chance of bad weather anywhere from January thru April so we just need to pick a day and go for it! I can get the "flu" if I need a few more days .) I think softangelwings was looking for a roomy. Let us know.

BTW, just for fun ran this by DH last night (I know a little late) but he was like "Why?" I said "to get away from husbands and kids and scrap for a weekend" He said " oh, well have fun" Whooohooo. Even though he won't remember this conversation in Feb I have it down here in writing  __________________

My DH can't remember yesterday's conversations. So I told him about Memphis and I told him about Gatlinburg and he was like OK have fun. But he won't remember either and I need him to take off to Oct 3 & 4 to take care of Michael.
I hope he remembers that. I have to email him at work to remind him and also watch him put things in his palm if I want him to really remember anything.

Yeah no kidding Janet. My DH was supposed to pick mom up at the airport yesterday at 11:30 and at 11:00 he calls me and says "What day is your mom coming in?" I nearly came unglued! But he managed to get over there and pick her up, standing like an abandonded waife on the sidewalk! Way to go Dwight....make points with MIL LMAO __________________

Been there...that is why he got a palm...for really important things a little alarm goes off...of course my boys swear their dad is deaf...

Ok, I am ready to go now...My dh doesn't care...all he thinks about is he will have the house and TV all to himself. I think he is more excited than I am. I leave in September for Maryland (birth of first grand-child) and the two little ones are going with me (I home school) and all he can think about is, make sure there is food for me and I will fly up when the baby is born and fly home a fews days later. We very seldom have a quiet house.
Hey, girls if you get a chance check out my 1st time swap...Let's Be Thankful. I always send Thanksgiving cards to my resident's back in Maryland...they live at the retirement community I use to work at. They look forward to cards every month. I try!
