Smile Project Tote

It seems there are a few ladies here at home wishing for the new convention project tote that sold out in Memento Hall. Maybe we can use this thread to mention our interest if anyone wishes sell or trade for one.

Please PM me if you are interested in selling/trading a tote.

Thanks. Hope everyone at convention had a blast. I know the one and only time I've gone it was quite an experience.

Can we post here if we would also like the convention bag if anyone is willing to part with theirs?

I think that demos should e-mail SU to produce some more of these totes. If they were that well received at convention..imagine if they brought them to the marketplace for the demos that did not go to convention as well as customers. I believe they would be very popular, sell well and generate big $$ for SU.

Believe it or not, people are already selling both the convention bag and tote on ebay. Nothing surprises me. The convention bag is up to $79.

I only checked for giggles

I would like the demonstrator bag, too! It's a shame that a demo doesn't try to sell the bag to other demos!

I guess I just stupidly assumed that the tote would be available later for purchase with all the other "logo" stuff.

I too would LOVE one of these. I think we should all email SU and let them know we would love one or one simular! I would love to see SU carry more of these even to our customers. Do you know how many ladies I see carring around simular type craft totes? Wouldn't it be great if they were carring around SU ones!!! I would love to see more storage and bags like CM offers! I would also love to have more logo stuff! My sister is a director with Mary Kay adn I swear every piece of clothing she has from dressy to casual has the MK logo on it and I see a bunch of ladies with CM logo wear on all the time! We need these, great conversation starters! There is a lady at the WW meating I go to who sells CM and always has her CM shirt on! I wish I had more logo wear, esp some more cassual wear!
Anyway if you want to see this tote we shoudl all email ds to let them know we want one! Remember SU listens!!!

Did they sell out of the camera bag and chapsticks too? I hope they make it available like last year with the mini tote.

They aren't exactly the same since the linings are different but I had been drooling over the totes with all the pockets when they started carrying them at Michaels last year maybe? I have a pink one and a blue one and love them! The original colors were paler than the bold ones they have now (at least at my Michael's) but, just wanted to put this out there in case any of you wanted the style but didn't have to have the convention ones:

http://www.michaels.com/art/online/d...530&channelid=

I use one for stamping supplies and one for beading supplies and they are perfect!

Thumbs up

I think that the project tote is taller than the ones at Michaels. I have one from Michaels (all black) - and I do LOVE it!

I would lOVE a SU Project tote, too. However, someone just paid $90 PLUS $10 shipping on ebay - I'm not that desperate - or crazy.

have a great day!

I just recieved my SU tote my Upline brought home for me, I had to pay her for it as I asked her to get it for me...I love it! I also have a Mike's tote pink and brown, and believe me I can use both. This tote is very pretty and is taller then the Mike's one and slightly larger, they ommited the zippered drawer at the bottom, so it is deeper. She also gave me a sterling silver Celebrate 2008 charm, a key holder and a SU lip balm.....now is she a great upline or what?? She did say they were allowed to purchase 4 of those totes on the first day, I wonder if theyhave any left if they will be in memento mall, as they call it?? Does anybody know? She only bought 1 tote for herself and the one for me, and had to stuff them in her suitcase for the plane. I sure did appreciate it, its a shame that when the demo's are wanting them so badly and can't get them, but they are being sold on Ebay, if I would of gotten any extras I would of posted them forsale on this forum at the reg. proice!! she also let me "borrow" her new catty while she was at work....I almost ran away with it!!

I might be willing to part with my project tote/camera case - but not sure I want to fool with shipping it anywhere. If someone lives near Central Kentucky and would like to meet in Lexington, KY - I might be willing to sell mine.

A lot of ladies used their totes to carry their stuff around in throughout Convention, I didn't. Mine is brand new, tag still on it.

This is the response I received from SU about possibly being able to purchase this stuff:

Hi Melissa,

We are currently reviewing the stock we have left over from Convention and Memento Mall and it will be determined whether or not any of these items will be available, however no decision has been made at this point.

HTH!

I'm willing to part with my camera case. I thought my camera would fit...:( sadly, it doesn't, and I really don't need another mini purse! Contact me if you are interested in it. Thanks!

Default I spoke with...

...I think her name was Cori Hancock as I wanted one of these totes for someone in my Downline...I spoke with her on Saturday at lunch and the Totes were SOLD OUT! I then asked her if there were going to become available on a Supply order after Convention and she said NO that once the stuff was Sold Out that it wouldn't be available again...Luckily Cori took my cell number and said that if anyone returned one that she would give me a call...and not 45 minutes later...she called...So Kara...I have your tote and camera case...

Sorry to share this sad...Sad...SAD news...

Yeah - I was in Memento Hall on Saturday too and they said the totes were sold out (although I don't know if they had a separate stash they were hiding somewhere to sell after convention). When I inquired about them, the DS person whispered to me that she actually had one left that had gotten returned and I could have it if I wanted it - but I didn't want it - I was just curious.

It would be great if they would offer this stuff. My upline and I are having a stamp retreat in September and having little things like lip balm etc. to give to each lady would be great. I've managed to maybe scroung up a couple but not 20 which I would need. Anyone have any of the little things let me know.

Just curious, how much did the totes sell for at convention? I also wish SU would have those available for other demos. There really isn't very much logo stuff to take to a WS.

Hopefully they will make them available after convention or since they sold out at convention realize there is a market for them and get them on order for the demos. If anyone has one they want to part with just email me and I can send the money or do paypal. Thanks

I love the tote bag & camera case; my 1st camera case didn't stay shut & I had to return it though. The tote bag wouldn't fit in my suitcase, so I stuffed my purchase in it & carried it, my convention bag & my black SU bag as carry ons.

I am going to e-mail SU and request that these be made available to everyone to order. I really didn't think they would sell out. (?) Im sad to see that these & other things are being sold on the bay, but I'm truly not surprised. I hope y'all find the bags you're looking for. I have to stitch the strap back onto my convention bag because I had so much stuff in there it is tearing.......... I'm so hard on stuff. :-(

A lot of ladies used their totes to carry their stuff around in throughout Convention, I didn't. Mine is brand new, tag still on it.

I bet it would make a cute SWAP bag for next year! Fortunately, my convention buddy was able to pick one up for me! Horray! I'm a tote/purse fiend...
