I just bought a set of stamps that make nice circular monograms--1, 2, or 3 initials with some borders. The monogram is 1 5/8 inches in diameter. I'd like to cut them out (easily!!). Does anyone make a punch that size? I have a 1 1/2 inch, and a 2 inch, but I'd really like a better fit.
I know if the product is out there, someone here will know where to find it!

I think I read that SU's scallop circle is a good fit? Not sure if there is a regular circle stamp. I just bought a Marvy 1.5 inch, but that might be too small for you.
I don't know if there is a 1 5/8 punch but there is a 1 3/4 - I have one. I got it at either M's or HL. There is a 1 3/8 punch that I believe SU has and others may have also. I say that because if there is a 1 3/8 out there, there may also be a 1 5/8. The 1 3/4 may work for you - it's only 1/8 larger than you're looking for.

Are you talking about the JustRite Monogram stamper? If so, I recently purchased the same thing and am also looking for a 1 3/4" punch. Several people use the Spellbinder's Nestabilities for this, and I bought a set of these this weekend, but it's still not what I want.
Yes, it's the Justrite monogram set. I think it's a cool idea, but I thought that being able to punch them out would be nice. I'll have to look at Michael's for a punch. I really don't like the circle cutters very much, but I do have one I could probably use in a pinch. I have a Cricut, too, but it only cuts in 1/2 inch increments. If I could find the 1 3/4 that would probably work.
The McGill 1 11/16" punch is just a tiny bit bigger than 1 5/8". It works perfectly for the Justrite monograms. Not too much border, not too little. You can get it here.

Do you find that punch hard to use? I have used one in the pass (another shape) and found it difficult to line the image up and punch correctly.
Hi PaisleyPrincess - When you are punching do you have the botton of the punch facing up so you can see it? Then insert your paper, line it up, and punch. Should work very well this way. Don't set it on a table and then insert your paper - really no good way to line it up. Hope this helps!
I do that but find it really hard to keep stable and punch. I guess I have gotten used to the lever type punches. I will hae to dig it out again and play with it some more.
I did at first, but then what I found to help was to line up the paper (bottom of punch facing up) press the punch button down on the table a bit to hold the image into place, then holding it partially closed, stand up and press down firmly with the palm of my hand. It does take some effort to punch through the paper, but I think it's easier than using my Nestabilities.

We recommend Nestabilities but for punches there are several on the market that work well. McGill, EK Success, Fiskars, and Hobby Lobby carries The Paper Studio circle punch with coordinating scallop punch. Hope that helps.
Punch Bunch makes a 1 5/8" circle punch. Where to buy it is another, quest I'm on. I'll let you know if I make any head way. debvk@optonlinenet
