Sally asked me to post a sketch for her this week since she can't seem to get a good signal while on vacation.
I looked at some of the past sketches and noticed that there hadn't been a one photo sketch in awhile. SO, I am using a sketch/layout that was given to me. I don't know who did the page (well I added the photo) but when I know I would love to give them credit! hehehe
Hello, I am a cardmaker, new to scrapbooking. My son got me my first album for Mothers Day. I've made several pages now all on my dogs (past), one present and working up to including the new puppy who is already huge!! I can't do my grandkids as I will upset my daughter who NEVER finds time to get to her book...
Anyway - this isn't a full page. I made a very similar one early in the week for my DD of my grandkids at easter - this makes it somewhat of a matched set. Hope you like it and, if you have suggestions for the **** card maker who probably takes waaaaayyyy to long to do these... please let me know!!
These sketches are meant to be a starting point. Feel free to flip, resize, alter, or do whatever you need to make it work for you!!! Minor tweaks are expected, but if you feel a major overhaul is needed, you might browse through some of the older sketches for inspiration. There is no time limit for these challenges, so use them at your leisure!
If you play along, please share your hard work with us and upload to your gallery! Make sure you add SBSC149 to your keywords (additional keywords are OK, just separate them with commas), and PLEASE post a link here in this thread; we would NOT want to miss it! Also, if you aren't a FAN CLUB member, please observe the NO UPLOAD on SUNDAY rule! :-D
You can find all submissions for this challenge here: SBSC149
Thanks for posting this, it's nice to occasionally have a one photo layout for that special picture that doesn't go with all the rest. I'll try to finish a page by the end of this week.
I haven't been doing a lot of scrapping lately, mostly cards, but trying to get back into things. And in updating my gallery, I saw that this page I did a few months back follows the line of the sketch here. A little narrower in my angled paper, but hope it's okay to add to the collection.
I'm getting so inspired to do more pages by looking at everyone's great galleries!

Well, I did another page that actually follows the sketch.... my last one had one picture but, nothing else followed!! Anyway - I haven't done page 10 (last page with my springer who had to be put down the day after easter) and, I don't know if I am ready for good bye yet!!
Anyway, this is page 11 and fit with my favorite pic of our brand new MAX (the chocolate lab) who was 22 lbs here... He's about 60 now already!!!
This sketch worked out perfectly for the Mini VSBN and my Letter D page. A little late in posting but I forgot to come back to the individual threads and link.
