Default Inque Boutique...

...what do you all think of them? I am thinking about buying a couple of sets because they are just SO pretty and CHEAP. But, they seem too cheap to be good!

Let me know

Ooo! I love this company! I have a couple of their sets (hmm, french quarter & something swirly looking) and I just love them! Great rubber, excellent cling stuff & nice stamping pad.
I also own one of the See D's line of small flowers/vines type things. You know, to make neat wreaths & such. Don't like this as much... not because of the quality, more because of operator error! :P I just can't seem to make good color choices (sigh).
Go on, buy 'em! You know you want to! (ps, check frugalities too, got an excellent deal there once!)

so you know they are just rubber right? The rubber has tacky stuff on one side, so it will stick to your blocks, but there is no foam on the stamp.

But they do come with a piece of foam you can use under your paper when you stamp if you find you need it.

So that might explain the price.

Anyhow I do have a few sets and I find that they stamp wonderfully! They are super cute designs too. I highly recommend them, as long as you know there is no foam or anything. I know some people gotta have stamps a certain way and I'd hate you to be dissipointed by that.

When I worked at my LSS I tried several of the See D's they didn't have a very good cling to them and would slip off the block and were hard to store, you'd open the CD case and they'd all fall out. I wasn't very impressed.

I just rec french quarter and boutique grunge. They stick nicely to my blocks and with the foam under paper, stamps beautifully. I have already used them in my gd's scrapbook. They are large stamps. Can't say enough good things about them and come with such a nice case each. You will love them.

I love them!! I also recommend getting the large stamping mat that Inque Boutique sells as well. It's very nice to stamp on

I have a bunch of different ones and find that they do stamp well, especially with the cushion. I agree that the designs are too cute and the price is definitely right!

I have several of them - love the images. Occasionally I have trouble with them not sticking to my blocks but, nothing that can't be overcome

Curious if you can mount the rubber to Creative Cling and use the stamp that way? I am not sure about putting a pad under my paper...

The stamp itself has an index print which helps with placement on the acrylic block - so if you put on the cling you'd lose that. Each set comes with a nice thick foam pad - really makes a difference. For the price it can't hurt to try them out.

Apparently they really got bombarded with orders from the sale and so their shipping was a bit behind. I just got mine yesterday. I haven't had time for anything to see ink yet.

I have several of these sets. My local stamp store carries them. I love them. They are a great value. I always use a foam pad under my stamping no matter what kind of stamps I am using.

My first set didn't stick as well as the newer sets. I love them and if you use the stamp pad they stamp really well. In fact, I never used a pad and after getting some with their stamp sets I use the pad for all my clear stamps. They are well worth the money.

I have hundredes of these stamps, and love them.

For those having trouble with them sticking to the block, have you checked how much sticky is on the back. It's a very thin layer and I find if I'm not careful about peeling them from the blocks or their storage sheets, the sticky piece starts coming off. All of the sets do come with extra sticky stuff if yours loses its sticky. It looks like a plain white sheet, and I almost trashed mine when I got my first set until I read the packaging and realized what it was!

I have a ton of their stamps and they're wonderful--I definitely recommend them. If you use the foam stamp pad that comes with them, they stamp beautifully every time.

I got an email back from them letting me know the deal. Apparently the calender set I ordered was out of stock, they got a huge shipment in, but not the calender set, which was supposed to come yesterday, but it got lost in transit. So--no stamps for me yet. I did get promised a few freebies though, to make up for the tortuous wait. Nice company, I may not give up on them!

I SWEAR that I saw the starter set at ACMoore last night.

Hmmm, with a 50% coupon, it might be worth trying.

For the life of me I could not figure out what those were supposed to be but hadn't gotten around to contacting someone to find out. I was smart enough to save them. I figured if someone went to the trouble of stamping a little image on them they had to have a purpose. I thought I read the directions but I apparently missed that part.

Default stamps

Been sniffin' around the purple turtle site and filling up a basket. I wish there was some indication of size. I look at a lot of stamps and many, no most, times, even on alphabets, there is no size indicator. That's frustrating for us web shoppers!
