TLC177 - Got Grid?
Morning, friends! This week we are going to focus on the Grid Technique.
You can find the excellent tutorial here:
Grid Tutorial
While the tutorial uses a Scor-Pal to make the grid, you don't have to have one to do this technique! Simply use whatever tool you normally use to score.
There is a section of the gallery for this technique under Technique Spotlight. Please upload your cards there, and use the keyword TLC177.
For your inspiration:

Have fun!!

I don't have a Score-Pal either. What I would do is take my cardstock, flip it over, use a ruler to measure and mark every 1/2", and then score it with the scoring blade on my fiskers cutting tool.
I hope that helps.

Kindness
Hey Beth, this was a fun technique. Thanks so much for suggesting it this week.
Here is my first card, but I am not really happy with it, so I am going to try again. Oh well, take a look and let me know what you think.

Looks like you might need to fix the link for the gallery. It goes to a resist technique card.

And number two
I just had to do another one and I am much happier with this one. I used the back side of the grid on this card and really like the look of it.
Please take a look at this one and let me know what you think.
Thanks!

Here is my
Sunflower Hedgie Thanks card. This will be going to DH's boss and his wife for the conk peas we put up this weekend. DH works on a farm that raises beef and a number of other food items. Our freezer stays well stocked with food provided by them. One of the many perks of his job! We realize how blessed we are by having them as friends and employers!

This is a new technique to me so I'm looking forward to trying it out.
But it's going to be tomorrow, no time left today, sigh.
