I think the Mackintosh Enamels gallery was one of my favorites so far … all of the techniques and colors were amazing.
This week's inspiration comes from some gorgeous wedding cakes by Cupcakes of Vancouver (that I discovered on Jenn Ski’s blog). I love the great colors and amazing detail.
Make sure you use the keyword: IC136 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words. Please make something new for the challenge.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
This is so cool! Stef you rock girl! I love this.....its wonderful! I am too sleepy right now, have to make a card in the morning...if I tired to make a card for this challenge right now I would probably end up face first in pile of frosting, dead asleep at my stamping table! Snort...

I am up late at night looking through forums, and I think I am ready to start getting involved in SCS challenges. This will be my first one, I know what I want to do...of course I will be doing it tomorrow and I will post. Wish me luck because I am a bit nervous. Everyone here seems sooo nice, so I hope you will like.

my card was inspired by all the many cupcakes on the web site with the texture that resembled the cuttlebug textile pattern.
so many soft blues and browns, still on a happy ride from the wedding in our family so i just had to play!
here is my card: (on the web site there are three cakes that inspired me! they are EYELET, PAISLEY, AND SOPHIA)

Wow, these cakes are gorgeous. I haven't had a chance to play the last 2 challenges. I hope to have time to do this one. I have to make a wedding shower card for tonight. Maybe I can get inspired from one of these cakes. Off to do that now. Thanks for challenging us each week and finding such cool inspirational pieces.
