do you have all the techniques to email? If you do..could you email them to me? Also I have been trying to do the Faux leather like they did in the Stampin' Up! Onstage magazine and cant figure it out...the color absorbs into the masking tape and then when I add the clear embossing pdr it practically goes away completely. I just get the edges clearly defined. Any help would be great! Thank you!

Morning Everyone!! Thanks for all your replies!! I have been asked to share my list..I did it is the first post.
Everyone wants the instructions emailed. There are too many and the files would be large. What I can tell you is that I am not the talented one. The ladies on SCS are. I just organized and made the technique list.
First I went to the resources page and listed the tutorials from there.
Next, I typed Faux in the forums search box and went from there. Once I found the technique name I would try that too. When I found the instructions I looked in the gallery and cased a picture from there.
If there is a particular technique you want emailed let me know and I'll be glad to send what I found. I will try later to compose a file with just the instructions and no pictures. When I get this completed I will post it here.

Just in case others don't realize this as well, but everyone can still access the Resources.

In fact, I signed out and looked just to make sure. Here is the link to faux leather:

Default Some additional resources for faux tutorials

For those hungry to learn techniques and willing to do more research here are some great sources to go to:

Somerset Studio article index
http://www.stampington.com/html/ss_article_index.html

Vamp Stamp News index of back issues
http://www.vampstampnews.com/back.html

Cloth Paper Scissor magazine
http://www.quiltingarts.com/cpsmag/cpshome.html

Mary Jo McGraw's DVD, Stamp Art Inspirations. A review of
Mary Jo McGraw's DVD, Stamp Art Inspirations:

http://www.scrapfriends.us/stamp_art_inspirations.html

A google search showed links for several of the techniques published in Technique Junkies, a subscriber-based publication. (www.techniquejunkies.com).

Here are some others...

Faux Paste Paper:

Sharilyn Miller, managing editor of Somerset Studio, said that Everse contributes an article to their background feature.
''She discusses laying papers and creating backgrounds,'' Miller said.
One such background that Everse recently discussed was creating paste paper and faux paste paper.
Paste paper is a process of taking regular paper, covering it with one of many types of paste, then applying paint and combing it to create patterns that blend into the paper.
Faux paste paper is much quicker because it simply involves applying acrylic paint to the paper and combing it to create a design with texture.
''Faux paste paper is just like finger painting for adults,'' she said.

I think this technique can also be done by mixing Pearl Ex with PPA, or just using a faux comb in wet paint, or with lumieres on dark paper.

Faux dry embossing

Stamp image with Versamark on medium to dark cs. Use stamp positioner to line up image just a skosh (thats not very much) above and to the left or right. Stamp image there with white dye ink. This is absolutely gorgeous, I 've done it! People that looked at my samples had to touch it. I saw it here and I apologize profusely but I can't find it again and I can't remember who to give credit where credit is due. I am so sorry.
