Default 2-4-6-8 boxes

I know that someone had posted the template for the 2-4-6-8 box. Anyhow, I was wondering if someone would be willing to post the template.

Thanks sooooo much,
Darlene

Default 2-4-6-8 box directions

Hi Darlene

Sorry, don't have a template - but maybe this will help!

Just cut an 8.5 x 11 paper in half - length wise. Then put it in your cutter, and using the scoring piece, score at 2" - then at 4" - then at 6" - then at 8". That last little flap will be used to glue the box together.

Choose a side to be the bottom - take some scissors and cut up from the bottom - at each scored mark - 2". That last little section - part of the small flap - can simply be trimmed off.

Now just fold at the score marks - put some sticky tape on that small flap and stick it to the inside of the box (so that little flap is hidden). Then fold the bottom flaps up and sticky tape the last flap in place.

Crimp the top together like a milk carton and use a hole punch (round or slit) to take notches out of the sides to hold your ribbon.

Hope this helps!

Antonia
