Hi, I am the donkeysmiles blog... I can't tell you how to do it, but who did it. Sara Williams at www.tweaksanddesigns.blogspot.com did it for me, as well as the other two I believe. She is FABULOUS at what she does. I told her what I liked and disliked, gave her some of my "art" and she came up with it. IF you would like your done, she is the best to work with and does unbelievable things that is so me, that I never told her about! And it is reasonable too! Really check out her site and see the prices and then give her a shout and see what she can do for you, you will love her too!

Michelle I just love the animated siggy she made for you... every time I see it I smile ;)
Of all that Sarah did for me, I think the Siggy might be my favorite. I smile each time I see it and giggle. The images on my sidebar are my colored in Magnolias and my own mix of flowers. That she created a image and them loaded into the sidebar as an image. Love it! She is a master!
ok, I tweaked a little bit........I still don't know how to get ride of the gaps between the heading and content, but I think I need to just get over it.

Yup, that's all I did. I created my banner then also a smaller one for my sidebar icons. Just uploaded them as pictures. I love how it unifies the blog....

I just wanted to pop on here real quick--I don't know how she did it, but SARA is one of MY younger SISTERS (she's a twin) and ya'll are all making me smile to see such positive comments about her! I am very proud of her and all she has done for all those blogs out there (starting with mine)! After she did my blog header, I told her, she better watch out or she'd find herself doing this for many bloggers!!! Well, so many contacted me and asked where I got my banner. I told them it was Sara, my sister (before she even started her website) and the rest is history!! THANK YOU!!! Ya'll are so sweet!!!

wow, how lucky are YOU!! I visited these blogs from the first post and the work is ADORABLE!! She's one talented gal!!
Every time I read post over here at SCS I get the creative bug. This thread inspired me to dress up my blog with some of my original designs. Lol, it took me all afternoon yesterday to make one side bar button to match my header and figure out how to put it in there. I love visiting everyone's blogs!
When I put the Sidebar Title Images into my clients' blogs, they are actually a part of the page element.
I add them into the HTML of each "widget" so there is no space or line in between. It also helps to clean up the Template Editor of the blog (not so many page elements running around loose :o)
If you're interested, you can check out my design blog here.
I figured out the part about adding images to the widgets, but I did it by trial and error. If anyone knows of specific blog tutorials, could you please post a link here?
