JUN08VSBNB - 3 Minute Tour
3 Minute Tour
♪Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale
a tale of a fateful trip,
that started from this tropic port,
aboard this tiny ship.
The mate was a mighty sailin' man,
the Skipper brave and sure,
five passengers set sail that day,
for a three hour tour,
a three hour tour. ♫
We all know how THAT boat ride turned out! The passengers were forced to survive on a tropical island with only what they had with them. We're going to do something similar by loading up a "life raft" of supplies to use on our scrapbook layout in this challenge! Join us
The Rules
1) You should clear off your scrappin' area at this point. (That's the hardest part, I know!)
2) You need to set a timer for 3 minutes and you have exactly 3 minutes to gather up your photos, tools, papers, and every item that you want to use on your scrapbook page. Don't forget adhesive! (Make a "life raft" spot and put all of those items together there.)
3) When the timer goes off, you must quit gathering. Now you have made it to your desert island and have to scrap with only what you have.
4) Set another timer for 57 minutes. You now have 57 minutes to create a scrapbook page with your gathered items from your life raft. Don't cheat! You CAN'T use anything else except what was in your gathered pile!! Hope you survive!
Below is a look at my pile of scavenged supplies. Oops! I forgot any kind of journaling marker! So, thats why my sample layout only has creative journaling made with Simply Scrappin kit stickers.

Wow! That was an ugly post when I first put it up! Well, there's no perty colors and now the smoke alarm is going off here and the pizza is burning, but at least I'm off the phone with the credit card company, so should be smooth sailing from here on out!!!

As long as it takes, I guess - the timing starts after that. After all, you CAN do the other challenges not in their time slots...like about Tuesday of next week, if you are still clearing off your space ! ;)

Can't wait to see what everyone does with this!
LOL!
Glad you fixed it since it was a little hard to read at first.
I hate it when that happens.

Yeah, the best-laid plans! Then the images to post were too big, too, since I was planning in my mind to use gallery links and didn't resize to accomodate for attachments! Then DH came home from golfing at the same time and all hell was breaking loose. UGH!
Also, a note - my layout pages are backwards in the original post. L is on the R; R is on the L - but that's no big deal!

well what a cute challenge. I am going to have to hold off for awhile. My dad came up today to do some yard work for us and I was out there helping him. He left a little bit ago and I am all clean but EXHAUSTED! I need to eat lunch now too and oh I have promised dh that I would fix him potato soup again...from scratch:rolleyes:

You have a special one-time pass! After all, I had to leave to go shut off the kitchen timer, remove the pizza, and try to get the smoke alarm to shut off! Uh-oh, Staci's cookin' again!

wow...that was too fun, Staci!! i totally did not grab enough stuff and spent way too much time cleaning!!! still not clean though..hmmmm
anyway here is my pg.!
Another great entry here! You can always re-do it by flipping 90-degrees to the left and putting the photo over on the pattern paper (which would be then on the lower right of the lo). Then you'd just have to put something new where the photo was. Would that work?
