Default Prisma pencils?

I want to keep my PP in clear jars on a shelf in my scraproom. My room has 2 windows - south & west ----sooooo an awful lot of sun streams in throughout the day.

Will my pencils fade with all the sun exposure? I have the Premier set of pencils.

Thanks for the insight!!

Default Anyone???

Anyone keep theirs in a jar within a very bright room?

My thoughts say that they are "lightfast", but when you're sitting in a sunny room for your life will they really last??

Thanks,
Ginger

Default Thoughts??

Any weekenders have a thought regarding this--prismas and the sunlight?

Thanks,
Ginger

Hmm--not sure on this--but it would seem to me that even if they did, sharpening would bring up the true color again. Mine are tip up in my Making Memories carousel, in front of a window (south-facing, but with a cellular shade over it)--so they are in bright light but filtered. I think if you're really concerned about it, you could check the Prismacolor website--they might have better information on how light-fast the color is.

Hmm, I hadn't thought about the sharpening thing. I bet you're right that it would bring the color back!

I have the pencils in acrylic pencil holders. They aren't directly in front of the window, but the room gets so much sun I don't want to trash the pencils because of it.

Thanks,
Ginger
