I love mine, in fact, I couldn't live without it now !

I use it for allsorts - particularly for distressing papers, but also for giving a nice edge to chipboard that has been covered in paper ... which I then file the edges and ink ...

If you file any surface, it will give you a nice finish for inking.

I have a friend that has one - I used it, but didn't think it was anything special. I just pull out an emory board (pack of 15 or so from the dollar store) when I need to clean up the edge of a chipboard piece, etc.

It's the little ones I use mostly, for getting inside chipboard letters and frames and so on to tidy them up after I've papered them. For larger areas an emery board is fine, I've used them, but for little nooks and crannies those precision files are great.

I LOVE mine! I agree with the posters above that it's great for chipboard to file the edges after you cover it with paper, and the small files are great for getting into tiny spaces. I use mine all the time.

I have them and love them... especially if you are putting paper on chipboard... all the different shape files allowyou to get into all the nooks and cranies.... I use a Memory Maker sanding block for regular sanding and I use these babies to get ink small hard to reach places... I've bought them for all my stamping friends because I love them so....

I have the set also. Its one of those tools that when you need it to do a specific task, i.e. chipboard distressing, you will have the perfect tool.

I actually bought the set and it sat there unused in my stash for a while. Then I got more into chipboard so I've been reaching for it again and again. You can use a regular nail file, but it won't get into those small spaces. And that's why I love this set.

Absolutely LOVE my set, especially when I need new blades for my paper cutter and I get the "pilling" paper on the edges. The big file is great for sanding down blending stumps, and the little files are my favorite for cleaning up altered edges - chipboard, clipboards, etc.
