Kelly Santi - miamikel4
Miami, FL
Hi stamping friends! I'm Kelly and I'm known as MiamiKel4 here on SCS. My screenname is a combination of my name/city/my 4 children. I'm known for being Starbucks obsessed and I'm pretty sure coffee is my spirit animal! I'm super excited to be a member of the Dirty Dozen ~ it's a dream come true!

About me: I'm married to my high school sweetheart and we have 4 children (3 adult daughters, 1 teenage son) and 1 beautiful little granddaughter. I live in Miami, Florida and have lived here for almost 40 years. I grew up in a military family and have been blessed to live all over the world and speak 3 languages fluently (English, Spanish and German) and some conversational French!) I love traveling and immersion into cultures and experiences of each place I go as it's truly a gift to learn new things. Castle ruins, cobblestone streets and lush countrysides were my childhood playgrounds! While I do miss not having 4 seasons but know that being close to all our family here is a blessing biggest of all. I have a college degree in psychology and worked in the mental health field before being a homemaker and raising our 4 kids. I volunteer endlessly with church and Boy Scouting functions and at my son's high school.

My crafting style: I'm drawn to lots of color, lean towards the whimsical and cute critters and love building a story into a card. I'm often inspired by the creativity from the challenges here on Splitcoaststampers - it springboards so many ideas! I love using white as a backdrop and my favorite stamping style is to use distress oxide inks for blending and creating scenes. And cards with lots of fancy folds and intricate parts make me super nervous!

When I'm not crafting and card making, I'm typing out chapters of a book I hope to eventually finish, love reading, being outdoors, including walking our 2 silly dogs, bike riding, and all things Snoopy!

I'm absolutely humbled and delighted to be part of the Dirty Dozen and thank you so much to Lydia for the invitation to join. The upcoming 6 months are going to be the very, very best!
