Oh my goodness!! When Lydia asked me to call her if it had not been for the smiley face in her message I would have thought she was going to tell me something I had done wrong! LOL I was totally surprised and am still amazed I was asked to join the dirt pile!! But happy...oh yeah!

My husband and I have been married for 39 years and it just keeps getting better! We have 2 grown sons and one dear grand daughter who is now 10. A 13 year old lab and 4 year old English Shepherd now run our household.

I have always had a love of papers, fibers, and paints. I worked in a framing shop which also sold crafts so was able to go to the hobby shows. I taught classes at the store and at our local Agriculture center for people in our community. I do counted cross stitch. I love rubber stamping, scrapbooking, and have added watercoloring to my art interests. I read and have more books than I know what to do with. I have an extensive collection of seashells and cranberry glass.

I turned to Splitcoast when my mother died 2.5 years ago. Little did I know what a huge help the daily challenges would be to me. I have learned so much from the many talented people here. I have formed the most awesome friendships!! Splitcoasters are just the best! I am honored to be part of such a caring community. I will do my best as a Dirty Girl and say thanks from the bottom of my heart!!
