WOW! I still can't believe I am here! I have been squealing in delight since being asked to be a part of this fabulous Dirty Dozen Design Team!. I must admit, I've been a quiet stalker for a number of years now and this truly is a dream come true for me.

My name is Joann and I live in Nova Scotia, Canada with my wonderful supportive husband Miles and our very loved but very spoiled cat Squeaker. We are blessed to have one grown son Kyle who serves in the Royal Canadian Navy and has recently left the nest and we are still adjusting to being empty nesters.

I have worked full time outside of the home for many years and have spent my entire career with one employer.

I have a huge passion for creating dimensional projects from paper with particular emphasis on 3D art or altered art and dimensional handmade flowers. If I had to pick one particular style that I am drawn to, it would be shabby elegant vintage. Winters here in Nova Scotia tend to be long and cold so I spend a lot of time in my happy place aka my craft room; however in the Summer, we love spending time at our little cottage on the lake enjoying all that nature has to offer.
