Hello there, my name is Jeanne Streiff...I'm a Dirty Girl!!!

I can't begin to tell you how happy I am to have been asked to join this team of sensational artists. What a huge, huge honor. It was like my birthday and Christmas all in one (can you say happy dance?) when I got the PM from Julie asking me to join the Design Team...what a great way to start a morning

I've been married for 21 years to my hubby Joe, and together we share four great boys (aged 27 -17) and two grandchildren. Living with us are 2 dogs, 2 rats, 4 dwarf hamsters and a big tank full of fish that we gathered from our pond. We have lived in Texas for the last 14 years and have wonderful neighbors that have become our extended family. In my spare time (and when I'm not stamping) I like to bowl, do pottery, and I'm a big movie buff.

I was a fairly new stamper a little more than a year ago when I found Splitcoast. I had done many related crafts but my stamping was fairly basic. I had just signed up to be a demonstrator and I decided I had better learn pretty quick how to get beyond the basics if I was to teach others. What a wonderful resource we have here!

For me, the DD Gallery was a huge inspiration to improve my skills. I studied that gallery, looked for the little tricks, the color combos and ideas that take a simple card and make it a "wow" card. I started doing the daily challenges and practiced, practiced, practiced...well, I'm still practicing. And I'm still learning. I try to stamp for 1-2 hours a day, 4-5 days a week. It has truly become my passion.
