Hi Everyone! I’m Jamie Patsilevas, aka jamieruthp here on Splitcoaststampers. I’m super excited to be apart of the Dirty Dozen, such a talented group of crafters! Over the years I have enjoyed viewing everyone’s beautiful works-so many inspirational pieces and have appreciated all the positivity Splitcoaststampers exudes. It truly is a wonderful community and has always been a place of warmth and acceptance.
I grew up in the northern suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and currently reside in the small community of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania (about an hour north of the city). My heart is forever cheering on the Black and Gold-Go Steelers!, Go Penguins, and Go Pirates!!
I have been a paper crafter for well over a decade. I began this hobby with scrapbooking but quickly fell in love with card making-all those cute stamps and matching dies!-“be still my heart”! Coloring is one of my favorite aspects of card making. I can not have enough coloring mediums to work with, from Copics, to colored pencils, to watercolors-I love them all! You can find me most weekends and when time permits after work, at my craft table listening to music crafting the time away!
My other interests include reading, watching TV/movies, spending time with friends and family members, and my fur babies which include 1 Shih-Tzu, 2 Chihuahuas, and 1 Cat.
When I received Lydia’s message to be a member of the Dirty Dozen, I was “over the moon” excited! I am really looking forward to the next 6 months!
