Heather Telford - Heather T
Hi, I'm Heather Telford, an Australian who has been living in Canada with my husband and three children for almost fifteen years. I have always been an "arty, crafty" person. As a child I made my own cards, dolls clothes, paper dolls and cardboard box doll houses. I also love fabric and fibre arts including sewing, smocking, knitting, spinning, weaving and even a little quilting. I have several scrapbooks "in process" (a.k.a severely neglected) and am hoping to add art journaling to my mix this year. Although I love all of the above my predominant creative outlet right now is card making and stamping so joining the Dirty Dozen is very exciting and inspiring for me. Splitcoaststampers is an incredible community and an amazing resource.
I trained as a primary school teacher and taught for several years before starting a family and eventually homeschooling my three children. The youngest went to school this year so I am embarking on a new adventure which I hope will be full of the creative arts, both making and teaching.
I regularly blog about my cards on Bits & Pieces and occasionally about other aspects of my life on Sentient. I enjoy being a member of the Penny Black Design Team and also the One Layer Simplicity Challenge Blog team.
