Gayatri Murali - scrapawayg3
Perth, Western Australia
I saw a private message on my email from Splitcoaststampers. I normally don't get private messages unless I am in trouble for something I should not have been doing. lol! You know like saying some thing in a chat forum..... But I haven't chatted in a long time. So anxious, I clicked on it to read what the message was with a bit of anxiety! Soon my anxiety turned into a big grin and excitement
Lydia asked me if I like to be on the Dirty Dozen team! I could not believe what I was reading. I was not expecting it all. After couple of email exchanges, I am on the Dirty Dozen Design Team. So excited, thrilled and privileged to be on the DD design team. Thank you so much Lydia for having me.
My name is Gayatri Murali aka Scrapawayg3. I live in Perth, Western Australia with my husband of 17 years, two teenaged children - Boy (16) and Girl (14) and my beautiful Cocker Spaniel dog called Charlie. I am a therapist by profession which I have sacrificed for the job of Madam Home Secretary! You know what that means, right? Children may grow but a mother's work never ceases. Lets say life is crazy. Papercrafting keeps me sane.
I have been crafting for 12 years now. I started as a scrapbooker. You may find some of my very old scrapbooking pages here. Then joined SU as a demo before discovering clear stamps. I love stamping, making cards and work with both clear and rubber stamps. My style is bright and bold CAS with a technique of two. I am not afraid to experiment. So I will every now and then, try out shabby chic layered style or vintage style.
I love to keep up with trends. Most of my cards will have the latest trends on it. I work for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog, Taylored Expressions, Penny Black Contributors program and Winnie & Walter. Also been on few design teams in the past. My blog is called Handmade By G3. I keep my blog active by sharing atl east two to three cards per week. Hope you find some inspiration there. I am active on social media, links to which can be found on my blog.
I am so privileged to be on the Dirty Dozen Design Team. The team is amazing and cannot wait to share my cards with you. Good to be a Dirty Girl!
I have to get used to be called that way
