I am so honored to have been invited to join the Dirty Girls! I joined Splitcoaststampers in 2018 on the recommendation of my Stampin' Up Demonstrator, who said she got many of her ideas for projects from the site.

My love of stamps began in 1978, when I started teaching. Back then, I had no idea people used them to make cards! My "projects" were limited to adorning kids' work with fun images and encouraging words.

I distinctly remember my first cardmaking party. I went into it thinking myself an experienced stamper; I was humbled by what I saw others doing! I was building my repertoire little by little, but once I joined SCS, I really began to branch out and try new techniques. It is so inspiring to see others' creations, and the encouragement from other members is priceless!

I live in Southern California with my husband and two cats, Max & Milo. I am originally from New York City, and still consider myself a New Yorker even though I have lived in California for over 40 years! I taught for 20+ years before retiring as a school Principal in June of 2021. Before I retired, cardmaking was one of the best ways to relieve stress; now it is purely for fun! When I'm not making cards, I am usually out running, my other passion. TFL, now back to stamping!
