I'll never forget June 15th, 2008!! Not because it was Father's Day either

I was scrolling through the DD gallery, which had just opened, and wondering to myself if I'd ever be good enough to make the DD team. Then the phone call came from Jenn! I'd thought at first I'd done something wrong while commenting in the gallery...LOL! When she asked if I'd be interested in joining the Dirty Dozen team, I was shocked! Of course, I said YES! Wow, what an honor to play along side all that talent!!

After hanging up the phone, I said to my husband, "Do you KNOW who that was?" Oh my goodness! I know it was supposed to be my husband's Special Day but he HAD to share it with me now! haha! I don't think my feet touched the ground ALL day!

My name is Dawn aka TreasureOiler. I'm a 36 year old SAHM. I've been married to my husband, Brian, for 14 years. We have one daughter, Chloe Mae, who is almost 9. I am a SU! hobby demo and am on a few different Design Teams.

I really didn't get into stamping until I discovered SCS. The people here have taught me SO much! Thank you to everyone for your inspiration and your guidance. I love how everyone is so supportive and helpful to one another. I hope that I can be some sort of inspiration to you too!

I'm a challenge seeker for sure! I try to do the daily challenges on SCS but sometimes life gets in the way...like on Saturdays....cleaning, shopping, laundry, mow the lawn....you see where I'm going...

In case my nickname doesn't give it away, I'm a huge Edmonton Oiler hockey fan. I love sports! Hockey isn't my only love though. Nascar and Jeff Gordon are another favourite of mine. I'm not too sure how I picked him so many years ago. I think it's because we were both born in 1971 Every February, we head to Daytona Beach, FL for the Daytona 500. Nothing like being there with the roar of 43 cars zooming by you and your chest pounding! It's such a rush!
