Brenda Quintana - Qbee
Memphis, TN
“OMG!!! SQUEEEE!!!” is how I replied to Lydia when she asked me to be part of the Dirty Dozen. I’ve been a fan club member right from the beginning and I’ve always had a secret wish to be part of the Dirty Dozen. Dirty Girls are so talented that I can hardly believe that I will be one of them. I’m truly honored to be part of this elite group and I only hope that I can keep up with their “awesomeness”.

My name is Brenda Quintana or Qbee on Splitcoaststampers. I’ve been known for my 3D projects for a while, which I create detailed tutorials for. I have also designed for Scor-Pal in the past and am currently a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. More recently I’ve become known for my kisses, Hershey’s kisses that is. I have developed a knack for creating shapes with Hershey’s kisses that make great party favors and gifts.

I was a late bloomer when it comes to being crafty. It wasn’t until I was a SAHM in need of an outlet, that stamping found me. Right from the beginning, I was drawn to out-of-the-box designs and projects that popped and moved. I pretty quickly turned from copying other artists’ designs to creating or adapting my own when I couldn’t locate what I needed. I still find it hard to believe when people call me “creative”.

I grew up in the idyllic town of Kelowna, British Columbia surrounded by the beauty of nature. I learned my work ethic from my German parents and my creativity from my father, who was always working on some interesting project in what little spare time he had. I moved to Ontario for university where I studied to become a librarian and met my wonderful husband. Together we had a sweet son who is about to become a teenager. Wish me luck! LOL! About 10 years ago we moved to Memphis, TN for my husband’s work and here we still are.

I’m so excited to be part of this wonderful team at my favorite paper-crafting website,
