Bonnie Sharp - eggette
Southern Ontario, Canada
Well Holy Cow, my hands are shaking even writing this!! Unbelievably, I am introducing myself to you as one of "the" Dirty Dozen!

When I got the e-mail from Jenn, I immediately wondered what the heck I had done wrong on! I got on the phone and called her so I could straighten "it" out. When I hung up a few minutes later, I'll be honest, I cried and then thought I was going to throw up and then wondered what she had seen in my work that could possibly warrant being HERE!

Well, I guess there was something because here I am telling you a bit about myself!

My name is Bonnie Sharp and I am known as "eggette" on Splitcoaststampers. My name came about because we are egg producers and I say that I gather eggs everyday, when actually our son has taken over that job, leaving me more time to make cards!! yay!!

I have been married to the love of my life (betcha you never heard that before?!....hehe!) for almost 30 years and we live in rural Southern Ontario Canada. We have three adult children, one married with two of her own children, and yep, I'm a proud Grandma! All of our children live within 500 feet of us which is wonderful most days! On October 25, 1995 I had a liver transplant, which changed my whole outlook on life, as you can imagine. I began taking up hobbies such as golfing and curling and all those outdoor sports, and I was happy doing just that, for years!!

One beautiful autumn (golfing) day, my niece, who is a scrapbooker, needed everyone in the family to come to her house and make up two scrapbook pages each, to put in an album for my mother-in-law. My first thought was bleh, no golf today. My second thought was, nuh way....I am NOT a paper and scissors sort of gal! Short story long, my daughter dragged me, (I really was dragged) to this scrapbook thing and I found out that I actually liked it.... Who knew??!! Cardmaking was a natural progression after buying stamps and using the excuse of saving money by making my own cards.....yeh right lol! Here I am, almost two years later, DT member for Little Paper Shop and Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday, still loving it and following all sorts of different paths to fun!

I want to thank Jenn for this tremendously fascinating chance to play along side this wonderfully talented group of "Dirty" Girls and hope that I can glean even a tiny bit of their amazing talent! Wait a minute, isn't "Glean" a cleaning detergent? Forget it........ I love being "DIRTY"!!
