Beate Johns - Beate
Niceville
You pronounce my name somewhat like Biatta. I was born and raised in Germany until a handsome Air Force man swept me off my feet and brought me to America. We were stationed in Upstate New York, Virginia, back in Germany, in Illinois, and now here in San Antonio, Texas. We have three wonderful children - one born at each of the first three places we lived! Austin is fifteen, Lucas is thirteen, and Rebecca is ten. We are really blessed with them. They are good kids . . . when they are sleeping!

I was always into some type of crafts. I knitted, cross-stitched, and quilted. Back on Scott AFB in Illinois, one of my quilting friends was also a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I had never heard of that company before, and went to my first workshop in January of 2002. Was I ever hooked! I couldn't believe they gave stamps away for FREE! Needless to say, I got all four free Sell-A-Bration sets before February was over. I told Rick right away that I NEEDED to sign up, but it took until the release of the new catalog that year to convince him that it really was for me. I really enjoy being a demonstrator and sharing my love (okay, my addiction!) with others. It's so fun to see people stamp for the first time and be just dazzled by their own creations.
