I really, really, REALLY cannot believe that I am not a part of this dream team--and that the email from Lydia was actually to me and not a mistake!

I am a retired high school Physical Education and Health teacher--retired in 2009! I was also an Athletic Director for the last 17 years and I am still active in the state and national association. I live in a subdivision, somewhat in the country, in SE Wisconsin, with my partner of 22 years. We have a greenhouse attached to a garage, so we start seeds in the spring for our flowers and vegetables. We love to walk, hike, bike, kayak and especially travel! We were in Ireland for close to 3 weeks in June--and did a 7 day walking trip around the Dingle Peninsula!

I think I have always been a bit crafty and remember stamping something Christmas-like on the cards I sent every December. Lang cards--remember those--they were based 10 miles from my house. In the mid-2000's, I visited a tiny stamp-scrapbook store in the town I taught in as it was opened by a local friend. She asked me if I knew anything about Stampin' Up or Splitcoast Stampers. Well--you all know the rest............. Down the Rabbit Hole! I found a local SU demo and signed up to be in her hostess club in 2004. I am still in a monthly club 18 years later, now with a different demonstrator. And, SCS is my home--the first thing I open on my laptop every morning

I have hosted many swaps here on SCS and joined many in the past too. But, those have mostly slowed down a lot. I am also the coordinator of BRAK Volunteers--the group that sends birthday cards each month to active RAK members. I may have sent you a card! I have joined a few challenges and participated in some events. But, my pledge is to do more in the future. I have also met a number of friends from SCS--and a few are dirty girls too! I hosted 6 ladies at my house in January of 2018, from 5 different states--a giant stamping slumber party!

Highlights of my stamping journey: Meeting Lydia and having lunch with her a few years ago in Austin. Going to Gina K's actual store outside of Madison many years ago and also her most recent one in the Milwaukee area--I sure miss looking at all of her pretty items in person! Attending Junkie Fest in 2019 and taking classes with Taylor from TE, Kathy Rac, Lydia, Gina K, Kim from MFT, plus getting a picture taken with THE Jennifer! I have signed up for many virtual events during Covid and loved participating. I also attended Taylored Expressions Stamp Joy last year in person and will again go in October.

My Style--I love to color and love layers! I also really like big and bold sentiments along with word dies as the focal point of a card. I really love patterned paper and have loads--like 12 holders of just Stampin' Up DSP, plus 17 additional ones from other companies--hoarder or collector?

I think this is probably more information than anyone wants or needs to know.............. But--this is me! And, now I can add Dirty Girl to my craft resume--proudly!
