Default Need HELP creating a specific background for card

Help me! I know the awesome ladies on SCS can help me out on this one. A friend of mine asked me to create a 40th birthday card for her boyfriend who has somewhat recently gotten into BMX-style dirt bike racing. (These are the non-motorized version of dirt bikes). She wants something with that kind of theme, but I've looked and looked, and while I have found stamps with BMX style bikes, I can't justify buying a BMX/dirt bike stamp set for a one-time use.

So, my alternative idea is to create some sort of dirt bike or dirt track style background out of stuff I already have. Maybe use something to make it look like tire tracks in the dirt??? I've looked on Pinterest/SCS/Google trying to find what I'm essentially trying to do, but just am not finding it.

I was thinking that I could create the background with some combination of something I already have. I've got SU's Gorgeous Grunge, Work of Art, and several other things that could potentially work, but need some help.

Any thoughts/links, etc would be helpful.

Thanks ladies!!! ;)

Maybe you could print black & white image of dirt bike & fussy cut. On top of a background like this: Http://stampingmadly.com/2013/08/08/...unge-postcard/

Gorgeous Grunge is great for this - DH is a biker and I use it on cards for his friends.
Here's one using that and Work of Art as well: WT539 On the Grid
That strip is great for a track, here's another use of it: HYCCT1408 Biker Hero

The Tim Holtz Treads stencil would be so cool for this! If you have a chevron die or stencil or chevron stamp, maybe you can distress it to look similar:

Darice makes a tire track embossing folder. Darice tends to be pretty inexpensive. Do you have a LSS that might have it? It is not new. It might be more but if you consider shipping...

Darice Embossing Folder Tire Tracks | Jo-Ann -they are doing a 25% sale.

They also make a diamond plate one that is very industrial looking I have that looks cool if you silver ink it.

Another choice might be to download a pic of a biker coming to a stop as a BG and then layer on a funny thing...like do you have any of the AI older women around? They have some funny sentiments about aging or chasing men...

Take a kids mini car/truck and run it over an ink pad and then over your card stock for a tire tread look.
Just be sure to wash the tires of the toy well so the ink doesn't transfer to something else when the the kid plays with it next.

I found this...you could reduce the size when printing.
