Default Pampered Chef "Tool" Holder?

I remember reading on SCS a long time ago that some of you use the Pampered Chef "Tool" Holder for keeping your scissors, prisma pencils, etc handy. Could someone please give me a link to this item? Thanks so much! :-) LM

I [sceptically] bought the art tool caddy at Hobby Lobby for $5.00, and LOVE it! And it spins on a lazy-susan type base. I think I got it near art/paint supply area.
It has a couple of rows for tools like piercers, stylus, things smaller like that. The larger holes are in top center,to hold scissors, etc., and the very bottom had shallow/wide spots for snail tapes, erasers, etc.

good luck,
Valerie

I have to tell you that if you garage sale to watch for these. I got mine brand new at a garage sale for $1.00... I was so excited to get home and put all of my goodies in it...
I was also asked by 2 of my girlfriends to pick one up if I find them and I have been able to find them both one "used" for $2.00 each.. They were also very thrilled with the find and are now using them in their craft rooms.. I have not been able to find anymore brand new ones but the used ones were well taken care of... You never know what you may find...

Thanks Chanda

I have two of these and they are the BEST! I think I have another one somewhere in the pile of boxes in this room (just recently moved) I need to search through them and see if I do have another one.. I could share it with someone if I do. Pam

I have been using an old knife caddy. Just turned the little sections upside down. I put pens and pencils in them. Think I'm going to do a switch out.

Wow! I would LOVE to find something like this at a garage sale!

My white tool turn-about doesn't like to turn anymore. :( I've had it for a zillion years so I can't really complain too much as it has survived four moves too. I might have to get a new one (or two).

Just be careful, I bought one and it won't spin like it should. I took the bearings out and lubed everything like my consultant said it and it still doesn't spin. Very frustrating. Keep your receipt so you can return it if necessary.
I can't find mine so I couldn't replace it.

I would just order another one... if that one works then use that receipt with the one that doesn't spin to return it for a refund. This way you get one that works and the company gets one that doesn't along with a receipt.

Default tool holder

I just ordered this item from my PC demonstrator and should receive it next week. I think it will be the perfect addition to my stamping desk.

I have two of these in my craft room - so awesome for all the pens pencils and gadgets! I should get another one since they have redesigned them within the last year, so that the turning will has been moved towards the outside for better balance

Are the black ones the "new design" units compared to the white ones? (Or have they been black for awhile now?)

Thanks!

why wait for a garage sale? go to Hobby Lobby they are around $7.00, then use 40% coupon. Worth the enjoyment and NO waiting time!

Speaking of PC, don't forget that you can use their little brown stone scrapers as a bone folder for your cards too...;)

the black ones were introduced this season...they're made to hold more weight (woohoo!) The new ones are supposed to hold 15 lbs without any problems with the spinning mechanism, the old ones only 10 lbs.

You don't need to have your receipt. Just call Pampered Chef's customer service line, and tell them when you ordered it and who your hostess was, chances are, they can find your order. I did this recently and they just had me send it in and sent out a new one.
