Smackin’ Acetate

Markers on acetate make a marvelous background.

Supplies

Step-by-Step

1. Step 1

   Scribble markers on acetate. If you don't have a marker handy, try a blender pen and reinkers.
   

   

2. Step 2

   Spray water on the acetate. For a fine mist, hold the bottle about 6 inches away and spray a couple of times.
   

   

3. Step 3

   Place acetate on neutral cardstock.

   

4. Step 4

   Rub your finger over the acetate to spread the water mixture.
   

   

5. Step 5

   Let cardstock dry.
   

   

6. Step 6

   Stamp image on cardstock.

   

7. Step 7 (Optional)

   Color image.
   

   

8. Step 8

   Finish your card.
