I followed the written scoring instructions and mine didn't match up either. The written instructions should say score at 3.25 (3 1/4) and 3.5 ( 3 1/2) then your edges should match up. I plan to make several as gifts for special staff members at the school where I teach. Love this project!

Hi Stacy,

in the gallery for this project, Mrs Noofy says she made hers a bit smaller. I'm not sure if you can do it to the template in Adobe...I would maybe print the template out and then with a pencil make it smaller all the way around. Then cut on the pencil line. Does that make sense? Perhaps someone more technically savvy has a better way smile

You could use mini velcro spots as a closure.
