  1. Step 1

Add Flower Soft Glue to parts of the chipboard you'd like to cover.

  2. Step 2

Place your chipboard in a powder tray or on a sheet of paper and add a heavy coat of Flower Soft over the adhesive.

  3. Step 3

Take a scrap piece of paper and place it over the chipboard.

Press down to embed Flower Soft in the adhesive.

  4. Step 4

Tap off extra Flower Soft and replace in the container.

Set chipboard piece aside to dry.

  5. Step 5

Color any blank chipboard spots with a marker.

    Hint:

If you're paper piecing any areas, make sure to do this before adding adhesive and Flower Soft.

You can make your own flower soft by rubbing two styrofoam balls together until you get a fine powder. Then add some reinker ink in a ziploc bag with the styrofoam powder. Let it dry and it looks quite a bit the same. Not exactly the same look, but much cheaper and totally customizeable with the colours that way. I watched a video on you tube and tried it. It works quite well.
