Chipboard with Patterned Paper

Cover chipboard with patterned paper for perfectly coordinating accents.

Supplies

  • Chipboard

  • Patterned paper

  • Adhesive

  • Detail scissors (or sanding block) for trimming

  • Accessories

Step-by-Step

  1. Step 1

    Cover chipboard with adhesive.

  2. Step 2

    Apply chipboard to reverse side of patterned paper.

  3. Step 3

    Trim excess patterned paper with detail scissors.

    Tip: Try a sanding block for nice, even edges.

  4. Step 4

    Finished chipboard piece.

    Tip: Try a sanding block for nice, even edges.

  5. Step 5

    Embellish as desired.

  6. Step 6

    Finished project.

What type of adhesive are you using on the chipboard?

I lay the paper down (wrong side up)and the the chipboard down (wrong side up) and I trace around the chipboard using a very sharp pencil, then I cut out the shape, then I add adhesive. It turns out beautifully everytime!

i was given some clipboard and didn't know what it was called orwhat to do with it. it was put away. thank goodness you have the info i needed in this newsletter. i will be printing a lot of stuff out and using it.

These were so easy yet they made my pages pop! I love how elegant my page looks. I even got balsa wood from Michaels and decorated my scrapbooking room with "SCRAPPING TIME" on the wall. It looks fab! - Vickie Vegas
