Blurred Vision Watercoloring
by Beate Johns
Create a diffused watercolor look on solid or outline images, super quick and super easy.
Supplies
- Stamps
- Cardstock
- Dye Ink
- Aqua Painter or watercolor brush
Step-by-Step
-
Step 1
Stamp an image in dye ink.
-
Step 2
Go over the stamped image with an Aqua Painter or watercolor brush. The ink will run a bit to give a watercolored look.
-
Step 3
Repeat Step 1 and 2 if you want more than one image.
Only stamp and blur one image at a time. The image will blur better if you go over it right after stamping.
-
Step 4
This technique works for solid and outline images alike.
-
Step 5
When blurring outline images, try pulling the ink from the stamped lines to the inside of the image to color it in.
-
Step 6
Finish your card.
