Quick Gift Packaging
By Michelle Giraud
The Kreate-a-lope Box Templates from greensneakers.com are an easy way to create custom gift packaging for any occasion. I played with the super mega kit which included 6 box templates boxes; a gift bag, dress shaped box, bakery container, popcorn box, card portfolio, and a really, really cute cake shaped box (my favorite).
These boxes and bags are BIG! Most are made with 2 sheets of 12x12 cardstock which I actually like because I have an over abundance of 12x12 paper that I buy on sale and horde but don't use. This is a great way to clean out some of my stash, and end up with useful items. Especially the gift bags, I'm alway looking for a cute bag for a little gift.
The templates make these projects so easy to make. You really don't have to read a lot of instructions or spend time measuring and figuring out the cut and a score lines. It's all laid out for you on the template. Simply trace, cut with scissors, fold on the score lines, glue and you're done. They really take just minutes to make.
Out of the templates I would say my favorite to make and decorate was the cake box, I can easily see this being made over and over for birthday gifts. I look forward to using all the templates when I need gift packaging.
Kreating Krafty Keepsakes!
By Amanda Havon
Have you tried had a chance to try any of Kreate-a-lope templates yet? These are the most accurate and fun templates I have ever used. And, just in time for Christmas, Green Sneakers has outdone themselves with their new gift Kreate-a-box template sets. They are my favorite!
Let's talk about what to expect with the Kreate-a-box templates. Each template comes with written instructions on how to use it and an online address so you can watch a video of the template being used and a box being put together. All of the templates are flexible, but sturdy and very easy to maneuver, so tracing and scoring them is a breeze.
Simply trace your pattern, score the lines and cut. It really is that simple!
What I love best about the Kreate-a-box templates is how such a simple design can really make a very elegant box! I am already dreaming up ways to use the templates to create Christmas boxes, birthday, Halloween, Easter and Mother's Day gifts!
Boxes made Easy!
By Beate Johns
Usually creating boxes involves a lot of measuring or printing out templates and fussy cutting. Then you end up with small boxes. Not so with Green Sneakers box templates. All you need is a 12" sheet of paper, a pencil, bone folder and scissors. Trace the template, cut out, score and tape. Easy, peasy.
The templates are made out of sturdy plastic and seem durable. I created a box/bag with the cake pattern, box/bag template, dress template and stationary box. It's so easy create with these templates. The hardest thing is to decide on what patterned paper to use.
My tip: Instead of tracing the scoring lines, I traced them directly with my bone folder through the template. Everything stays lined up, and one less step.
If you love a custom look with your gift packaging and are looking for an easy way to create your own boxes, these templates are for you.
Boxing Up Some Happy
By Bev Rousch
I've had the pleasure of trying out some of the Kreat-a-lope Templates before. They've worked beautifully so I was happy and ready to give these new box templates a go.
I'll be honest and tell you that when you first look at the template, it's just this clear flat piece of plastic and you're just not sure how this is going to turn out. Have faith, my friend! Once you take the simple steps of tracing and cutting out to form the boxes, you get SO EXCITED! You'll want to hug those templates. The shapes are beautiful with classic lines. Just perfect for decorating and gift giving or for use as party favors.
Just pull out your designer paper and accessories, and you're set. Your imagination takes off with these.
My tip: I roll a little Dotto under the template to keep it in place when I'm tracing. Dotto is a temporary glue and rubs off easily once you're done tracing.
I highly appreciate the fact that Green Sneakers has a video for each template up on their website. I don't know about you, but I'm a visual learner and those videos make it easier for me. So smart! (Thanks, Green Sneakers!)
I made a bunch of these boxes when I was at a stamp weekend. The ladies went on and on about them. They have a high WOW factor, and I'll be so proud to give these boxes to those I love.

By Teresa Kline
The Box Templates from Green Sneakers are wonderful in so many ways. They are super simple to put together, they are a good size, versatile, and the Bakers Box makes 27 different sizes...WOW! They will hold small lightweight gifts perfectly, in handmade packaging...sweet. You will need 12 x 12 sheets of card stock for making these and for some of the patterns, you will need two sheets. Add your own scissors, bone file and tape to complete the boxes. Finish them with simple embellishments.
These Box Templates are really impressive, I was amazed at the size and ease of putting them together. Box it up with the Green Sneakers Box Templates; Popcorn Box, Portfolio, Cake Box, Bakers Box(27 different sizes), Dress Box, and Bag/Box. But, most importantly, have fun creating!
