Our Artist in Residence answers your questions
Q: Melba asked: "I have tried and tried to use white ink pads for stamping. It looks great but if it is touched it smears. This looks horrid. I have tried two brands of white stamp pads and got the same results. I've tried searching the net for an answer but haven't found anything that is useful. Please help!"
A: Most white ink pads are pigment inks. They take a while to dry. Try hitting the ink with your heat gun or setting it aside to dry. You could also add clear embossing powder over it and heat emboss the white image.
There is also white Staz-On®, which is a solvent ink. It dries on anything, including plastic and metal.
