Our Creative Director answers your technique questions
Q: Sarah asked: "I recently was introduced to chalks. The way I was shown was by using Versamark but when I got home, it all seemed so complicated and messy. Any tips?"
A: t shouldn't be complicated! Stamp your image with Versamark and then rub chalk over it. I prefer sponge daubers, but you can use a cotton ball or a Q-tip as well. The chalk will mostly stay on where you stamped. There will be some light chalk markes on the paper, but that just gives it a soft look. Don't give up. Play with it. You will get it right!
